26 February - Youth TOF Day
1 February 2012 The "TIME OF FAST (TOF) GLOBAL PROJECT FUND" has helped to support many millions of dollars’ worth of development projects in more than 60 countries around the world.
Projects originate from local YMCAs and Y’s Men’s Clubs who know the needs of the local community and can put the funds to the wisest use. Local YMCAs administer projects so your donation goes where it is needed: only a small amount of donations is actually spent on administration or promotional costs. Monitoring, evaluation and follow-up are carried out to ensure that the people in need receive the greatest benefit. Projects deal directly with the people in need of help. They are self-help projects that improve people’s quality of life today, and also have on-going results. They help raise the visibility of the YMCA as a caring, sharing, active part of your community and the world.

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH REPRESENTATIVE 2012-14
On Friday 3 August 2012, during the International Youth Convocation in Norway, Mr Stephan Walker from Barbados was elected unopposed as the International Youth Representative for 2012-14.

Ms Roxy Galindo has been appointed as the Youth Intern for 2012-13. Roxy is a member of the Ottawa Y's Service Club.
