It is again time for the International Elections, one of the most participative processes in our Movement. It is the right and duty of all eligible clubs to take part in the election process.

Eligible Voting Clubs
- Voting privileges are granted to clubs that meet the following requirements:
- Are in good standing and with minimum of 15 club members during last 3 semesters (or those that have been granted an exemption from this minimum requirement)
- Have provided IHQ with a valid email address for the Club President or approved representative
- More information on voting eligibility is available in Guidelines 409, 410 & 411 of the International Constitution.
Terms & Conditions
Voters must carefully read the terms and conditions of the International Election. You will be asked to accept the terms and conditions after logging into the voting portal.
Online Voting
The 2024/25 International Elections of Y’s Men International will be conducted using Simply Voting, a web-based online voting system (https://www.simplyvoting.com/)
- Robust Security Measures
- Simply Voting employs multiple security features, including voter authentication, one-vote-per-voter technology, encrypted communication, and comprehensive logging of all administrator and voter activities.
- Infrastructure Integrity
- The system’s infrastructure is protected with daily security scans, regular penetration testing, and source code security audits, ensuring high-level security against various threats.
- Privacy and Confidentiality:
- Voter secrecy is paramount; election organisers cannot access individual votes, and voter information is securely handled, meeting TRUSTe Privacy Certification standards.
- Compliance with Standards
- Simply Voting is SOC 2 Type 1 compliant, demonstrating adherence to rigorous standards for security, availability, and confidentiality.
Invitation to Vote
Club Presidents (or approved representatives) will receive an email from “Y’s Men International” <vote@simplyvoting.com>
Voting representatives of all eligible clubs are recommended to add the email address <vote@simplyvoting.com> to their list of safe senders (“white list”) within their email account settings. This will ensure that any emails inviting clubs to vote will not be sent to junk/spam folders.
The email will contain an Elector ID and Password.
These creditials can be used to vote at https://ymi.simplyvoting.com/

Candidates were nominated by the International Council from names submitted by Regional Directors on behalf of each Region and by the Nominating Committee.

Africa Area
Two (2) candidates for one (1) seat have been nominated and they have accepted to stand for election.
Election for one (1) person to serve 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026 as Area President Elect/Legislative Assembly Representative Elect and then as Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2028.

Only one candidate for one seat was nominated, so no election for Legislative Assembly Representative for Europe Area is needed.
Mr Martin VOSJAN (Central Southern Europe Region) will serve as Area President Elect/Legislative Assembly Representative Elect from 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026 and Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative from 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027, and Past Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative from 1 July 2027 – 30 June 2028.

This year India Area will elect three (3) persons to serve as:
- Legislative Assembly Representative
- 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2027

- Legislative Assembly Representative Elect (2)
- 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026
In accordance with the accepted rotation formula:
- Legislative Assembly Representative 2025-27 is to be filled by a candidate from Central Travancore Region
- Legislative Assembly Representative Elect (1) 2025-26 is to be filled by a candidate from Mid West India Region
- Legislative Assembly Representative Elect (2) 2025-26 is to be filled by a candidate from Central India, Middle East, or South Central India Region

Only one candidate for one seat was nominated, so no election of Legislative Assembly Representative 2025-27 for India Area (Central Travancore candidates) is needed.

Only one candidate for one seat was nominated, so no election of Legislative Assembly Representative Elect 2025-26 for India Area (South Central India candidates) is needed.

At the time of election, there are no candidates for Korea Area. If required, an election will be held at a later date. One seat is vacant for the position of Area President Elect/Legislative Assembly Representative to serve from 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026 and Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative from 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027.
Latin America Area
Only one candidate for one seat was nominated, so no election for Legislative Assembly Representative for Latin America Area is needed.
Ms Magarida Maria RUIVO (Brazil Region) will serve as Area President Elect/Legislative Assembly Representative Elect from 1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026 and Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative from 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2028.

No Legislative Assembly Representative elections are needed in the following Areas:
Canada/Caribbean Area
Ms Cliffonie BROWN (Caribbean Region), was elected earlier this year to serve as Area President Elect/Legislative Assembly Representative Elect from 1 July 2024 until 30 June 2025 and then as Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative from 1 July 2025 until 30 June 2027, and therefore election of an Legislative Assembly Representative Elect is not needed at this time.

United States Area
Mr Joseph KANJAMALA (North Atlantic Region) was elected earlier this year to serve as Area President Elect/Legislative Assembly Representative Elect from 1 July 2024 until 30 June 2025 and then as Area President/Legislative Assembly Representative from 1 July 2025 until 30 June 2027, and therefore election of an Legislative Assembly Representative Elect is not needed at this time.
