Following the recent appointment of Mr A. Shanavaskhan as our International President for 2024/25 due to the health-related incapacity of Mr Chi-Ming (Charming) Shen, a new International President Elect (2024/25) must be elected.

According to Article V, Section 2(d) of the International Constitution, “In the event of the inability of the International President Elect to serve, or in the event the International President Elect becomes International President by reason of death, incapacity, removal or resignation of the previous International President, the Nominating Committee shall submit two or three candidates to the Regions in order that a new International President Elect may be elected.”

Eligible Voters

  • Voting is open to Regions in accordance with Article V, Section 2(d) of the International Constitution.
  • Regions can take part in the International President Elect (2024/25) election by following the instructions in the email received from Simply Voting. You can login at https://ymi.simplyvoting.com using the elector ID and password provided, or simply click the link provided to access the ballot directly.
  • It is the right and responsibility of all Regions to vote freely for their chosen candidate.
  • Voting ballots should be completed by the Regional Director or authorised representative, as per the decision of the Region, and submitted before the deadline.

Voters must carefully read the terms and conditions of the International Election. You will be asked to accept the terms and conditions after logging into the voting portal.

Online Voting

The election of the International President Elect (2024/25) will be conducted using Simply Voting, a web-based online voting system (https://www.simplyvoting.com/)

    • Simply Voting is SOC 2 Type 1 compliant, demonstrating adherence to rigorous standards for security, availability, and confidentiality.

Invitation to Vote

Regional Directors (or approved representatives) will receive an email from “Y’s Men International” <vote@simplyvoting.com>

Regional Directors are recommended to add the email address <vote@simplyvoting.com> to their list of safe senders (“white list”) within their email account settings. This will ensure that any emails inviting clubs to vote will not be sent to junk/spam folders.

The email will contain an Elector ID and Password.
