During Wednesday’s video announcement from his home in Gimhae, South Korea, IPIP Dr Kim Sang-chae awarded the association’s highest honour, the Harry M. Ballantyne Award, to Mrs Debbie Redmond.
Debbie is from the Carondelet Y Service Club in St Louis, USA and has been the International Historian since 2016. Debbie has taken on multiple challenges associated with the preservation of our legacy and its celebration in 2022. She has sacrificed countless hours in putting together stories, photos, and presentations on our history for various purposes. IPIP Dr Kim noted his pleasure in dedicating the award to her not only for her work in this position but also for her exemplary, selfless and non-stop service to the YMI movement in general.
