Korea Area’s ‘YMI Doctors’ completed their 12th medical mission from September 13 to 16 at a rural church in Kampong Thom Province, Cambodia, about three hours from Phnom Penh. The team provided essential medical care to patients from seven villages across two districts, under the leadership of Dr Kim Hyeun-goo.
In total, the team treated 434 first-time patients and 500 follow-up patients.
The mission was efficiently coordinated across reception, transport, treatment, and pharmacy services, bringing critical healthcare to this underserved region. Korea Area plans to continue its medical outreach efforts in Southeast Asia in the future.
